Past Project: 1996 Subaru Legacy

My first foray into buying a shitty car and fixing it came during my freshman year of college. Frustrated by the 11 mpg at almost $4 per gallon in the Discovery, I was on the hunt for something more fuel efficient, and most importantly cheap. The answer came in my freshman hall counselor's 1996 Subaru Legacy L AWD wagon.
